Are you a family member or friend caring for someone who is an Adult (18+ years old) with:

• a physical or learning disability,
• a mental health problem,
• a drug and/or alcohol problem or
• someone who needs your help because they are ill or older and frail?

If so, please know that there is information and support available for you.  

If you would like to talk to someone who could help you, please contact one of the carer support services listed below:

• The Junction  01642-756000

These organisations can provide you with information, advice and emotional support.  You could also get a Carers Emergency Card which holds Social Care contact numbers for use in an emergency.   

Alternatively, you may prefer to complete the form called ‘Understanding my Situation as a Carer'.  

However, if you are an adult caring for a child with a disability or a child with mental health problems and would like support from Social Care please ring 01642 726004 and choose the option for Childrens Services.
